Abstract
Discusses the poet Richard Henry 'Orion' Horne's writings on the bushranger Daniel Morgan, including his July 1864 letter to the Colonial Secretary offering to hunt down Morgan armed with a sword. Walker argues that Horne made this offer with his literary career, rather than justice, in mind.
